Yes, as a data processor we attach the highest importance to protecting your data. Of course, we comply with all requirements and guidelines of the GDPR and the ECJ ruling on mandatory working time recording.

We process your data during our customer relationship exclusively for the contractually agreed purpose. No other use or disclosure of your data takes place. After your cancellation, there is no further interest in your data on our part, but we are obliged to store some of it for a certain period of time. After expiry of the statutory or contractually regulated retention periods, your data will be completely deleted.

Yes, since we act as a data processor for you, we must jointly conclude a data processing agreement (DPA). We already have a well-developed and proven DPA that can be modified if needed.

Yes, you can request an export of all your data at any time. Many datasets, evaluations and overviews can also be easily exported from membra yourself.

The comprehensive rights management allows you to assign group-specific and even user-specific viewing and editing rights, so you can decide which users have access to which data. The personalized login with personal email address and password prevents misuse.

Yes. For additional protection of personal data, we generally recommend all users, especially superadmins (usually managers with extensive insights and rights) to activate two-factor authentication.

Contract Terms & Notice Periods

The contract term begins with commissioning and is valid indefinitely. After the agreed minimum term (usually 12 months), the cooperation can be terminated with the notice period selected at the conclusion of the contract. There are three variants:

  • 1. Cancelable at any time at the end of the current month
  • 2. Notice period 6 months to the end of the month
  • 3. Notice period 12 months to the end of the month

Yes, a cancellation can refer to individual services or to the entire cooperation.

membra is open to all interfaces to make integration into your system landscape as uncomplicated as possible. We already have many standardized interfaces to the most common programs in use and regularly develop new interfaces to the existing applications of our clients.

Yes, of course various custom exports can be created in membra. There are also many options to import existing data into membra.

Yes, in membra both the statutory regulation and individual rules regarding an automatic break deduction can be stored.

To limit fraud possibilities, there are various options in membra: geo-fencing, photo verification, RFID scan, QR code verification and many other security features can be set up upon request. There are various ways to implement the membra login quickly and easily. In the app (smartphone, tablet), password entry can be replaced by Face ID and Touch ID, among other things. Yes, we will set up your membra setup the way you need it.

Terminals and Transponders

Since no installation or similar is performed on end devices, our application is compatible with all common terminals. It is important that the device settings can be edited to specify which parameters are transmitted how and where. All recorded punches are transmitted directly online to our system and can be displayed and processed in membra. Of course, we support our clients with configuration if needed.

Yes, we have a cooperation with datafox, an established German manufacturer whose devices we have exclusively had positive experiences with so far. We deliver the ordered datafox terminals to our clients fully configured, ready-to-use and free of charge to a desired address in Germany.

  • Your terminals are set up by us for you and only need to be connected to power at the location. Please note that the devices must be within range of the WiFi signal.
  • If you press our logo on the display, it should disappear and only a small WiFi indicator should remain. If this contains an exclamation mark, the device cannot connect to the stored WiFi. In this case, please perform the following tests:
    • 1. Please first try to connect the device in close proximity to the router that sends the WiFi signal. If the connection is possible there, the signal strength simply does not reach the desired location.
    • 2. It could be that the network name and/or password do not match. In this case, please try to connect another device (e.g. a mobile phone or tablet) to the WiFi anew using the access data transmitted to us for setting up the terminals. This ensures that the transmitted data is still correct.
    • 3. If you want to connect your terminal to another WiFi network, please use our Helpsheet WiFi Setup Terminal.
